I've started working on the concept of the expectations we set for ourselves and the reality of the event. For example, a piece I'm working on is constructed the same way as The Scandal below but the painting is of a beach scene. The words on the plexi are those we associate with the kind of experience we expect to have. So far I'm very happy with it but you'll be the judge. :)
